The Very Inspiring Blogger Award

I am so so SO pleased to announce that Amy from Pen Names and Other Escapes has nominated me for The Very Inspiring Blogger Award! I want to shout out a HUGE thank you to Amy for considering me for this award, it really does mean A LOT!!! Please go and visit her blog, she is an extremely talented writer and her posts are always very motivating and inspiring. Thanks Amy! Mwah!!

Ok. Now the rules for accepting this award are as follows:

Thank the person that nominated you, and link to their blog. Once again, Amy, many many thanks!

Next, I have to list seven facts about me that you may find interesting. Hmmm……here goes:

1/ I have an unnatural obsession with hot chips. If I could eat them everyday, I would.

2/ I am an only child.

3/ When I was an angst-ridden teen my dream was to live in a loft in New York and be a writer.

4/ I love collecting stationery. I have so much I could open up my very own store. Notebooks from those cute little gift shops, pens, file dividers….you name it, I’ll have it.

5/ I always need to live near a body of water. Preferably the beach but a river or lake are ok. I live 5 minutes from the beach now and I love it.

6/ I type really, really fast

7/ I was not on the most popular list in school. In fact, I was the very opposite! Had to develop a tough exterior. It made me who I am today and I wouldn’t change a thing.

So the next and final thing to do is to nominate 7 blogs that I find inspiring and let them know:

Tales From Xira

Stadler Style

Colddeadheart’s Blog

David McGowan’s Blog

Visions Of Apollo

Please go and visit these blogs. They inspire, motivate and entertain and to top it all, have been very deserving of this award!

  1. thank you so much for your nomination πŸ™‚ I can sort of relate to being an only child….I have a half sister but I only saw her at Christmas and summertime. I also wasn’t very popular. They called me “Bible Girl”. I had a rolling back pack that these boys liked to kick :(. For mock superlatives I got voted “Most Likely to go to Heaven”. It wasn’t so bad….better than being picked on for being slow…like in elementary school (slow as in running slow).

    • Thats my pleasure, you deserve it! You know, that voting thing you have in the States can’t be all good can it? I guess Most Likely to go to Heaven isn’t the worst thing in the world it’s still making a mockery of your beliefs which is, essentially, you. When I was in high school I refused to conform and that was a problem because kids thought I was weird. My reasoning was that I didn’t want to look like the masses so I hardly wore uniform. The headmaster gave up on me after a while. While I encourage individuality I would definitely NOT encourage this when my kids get to high school…..!
